SPOKANE, Wash. – A Spokane man made his first court appearance Tuesday, facing charges of drive-by shooting and violating release conditions from a separate case.
According to court docs, Cesar Ruiz, 30, is accused of firing a gun into the air two days ago at a North Spokane apartment complex. Court docs said that Ruiz and several other men arrived at the complex, where they were reportedly threatening to kill someone inside. Ruiz then allegedly pulled out a gun and fired into the air.
Ruiz is also accused of violating his release conditions from an unrelated case.
The investigation is ongoing.
