SPOKANE, Wash. – A Spokane man was sentenced Tuesday for a hit-and-run that involved a mother, her toddler and her baby.
Owen Neeson-Graham pleaded guilty to one count of vehicular assault, with other charges from a separate case being dropped in exchange. He will serve three months in jail and 12 months in community custody.
, around 7 a.m., when police responded to a car-pedestrian collision at Lyons Avenue and North Division Street.
According to Spokane police, the mother was pushing her baby in a stroller while walking alongside her 4-year-old son. As they crossed a marked crosswalk, Graham turned left, striking all three. Police said Graham fled the scene in his car. The incident was captured on video, and witnesses provided info to police.
At the time of the crash, the mother sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries, the 4-year-old suffered minor injuries, and the baby was unharmed.
On June 28, Spokane Police Department’s Violent Crimes Task Force located the then 18-year-old Graham and arrested him for felony hit-and-run as well as vehicular assault.
