Spokane man receives 22 years in prison for dealing fentanyl and meth

SPOKANE, Wash. – A Spokane man was sentenced to 22 years behind bars for dealing fentanyl and meth.

32-year-old Jordy Scott Deboer was caught with nearly 28 pounds of drugs including meth, cocaine and fentanyl alongside two guns and $13,000 in cash at a Motel 6 in March 2023.

According to the US Department of Justice, Deboer was previously indicted for trafficking drugs between the Tri-Cities and Spokane.

US Attorney Vanessa Waldref contextualized the sentencing within the broader context of

“My office will continue to relentlessly remove deadly fentanyl and other narcotics from Eastern Washington communities and will hold accountable those who seek to profit from the illicit sale of illegal drugs,” Waldref said.

Deboer will serve an additional five years of parole after his release.
