SPOKANE, Wash. – Bikers in Spokane could soon see increased protection on the roads.
The city council has approved a proposal to add 27 miles of bike paths by 2027. This plan includes adding concrete barriers along the lanes to enhance safety.
The new paths will connect to existing routes, such as the Centennial Trail, extending access to other parts of the city.
The proposal is now with Mayor Lisa Brown for further consideration.
