SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane police Department (SPD) has detained a man accused of Tuesday’s north Spokane shooting.
According to the department, the Major Crimes Unit believes that the 23-year-old man arrested by officers knew the man he shot. He purportedly has an extensive violent criminal history.
Police say he was arrested in the Spokane Valley near Pines and I90, though SPD did not offer any details on how long the detainment process was.
The Spokane Medical Examiner has yet to disclose the identity of the shooting victim.
