SPOKANE, Wash. – A shooting in Spokane led to the arrest of two suspects involved in the car crash that injured 7 SPD officers and a K9.

The Spokane Police Department (SPD) reported that on July 17, officers responded to a shooting at a home in the 2900 block of East Joseph Avenue. The residents, who were victims, said that several unknown people came to their door demanding money. The victims did not know the suspects and tried to explain that they had the wrong house. The suspects then assaulted the victims by spraying them with mace or pepper spray before leaving. The victims later heard gunshots as the suspects departed. Police obtained a description of the vehicle the suspects used.

During the investigation, detectives identified several suspects in the Joseph Avenue shooting and arrested them last night according to SPD.
