SPOKANE, Wash. – An investigation is underway in Spokane after a man allegedly sexually assaulted a homeless woman on Thursday.

According to court documents, the incident reportedly took place on Thursday at the residence of Jerry White, located in the area of East Longfellow Avenue. The victim claimed in the court doc that the sexual encounter began consensually but escalated into violence.

According to court documents, the victim knew White through previous interactions and stated that she had been at his home since Wednesday evening.

According to the victim in the court docs, the situation changed when she decided to stop the intercourse.

“The defendant placed his hands around the victim’s neck and applied pressure, restricting the victim’s ability to breathe,” court docs said.

She also reported that White attempted to insert his p**** into her a*** but was unsuccessful.

Spokane police said that an officer responded to the scene and saw physical signs of distress on the victim. Court docs said that he saw “tiny red dots on the victim’s outer eyelids and eyes, similar in appearance to petechiae” and “red marks on both sides of the victim’s neck and upper chest.”

A Spokane police detective confirmed the victim’s account, stating she reported that “sexual intercourse was consensual until they stopped having sex, and the defendant then assaulted her.”

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment following the incident. The investigation, led by detectives from the Special Victims Unit, included a search of White’s home, where evidence was collected.

The Spokane Police Department said that they are continuing its investigation into the allegations against White, who is accused of second-degree assault with sexual motivation.
