SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Police Department is investigating a single-car accident involving a driver who was under the influence and crashed into a Washington Trust Bank building.
NonStop Local crews at the scene reported that emergency responders found the driver without a pulse and not breathing, but they were able to revive him using Narcan.
According to crews on the scene, the incident began when the driver side-swiped another car before crashing into a pole, a tree and ultimately crashing with the Washington Trust Bank building on North Division Street. The driver has since been transported to a local hospital, where police said he is expected to survive.
Spokane police said that the driver may face charges related to DUI and the crash. The Spokane Police Department Major Crimes Unit is currently handling the investigation.
