Spokane police officers who shot suspect identified by department

SPOKANE, Wash. – The identities of four Spokane police officers involved in a deadly shooting nearly two weeks ago have been released.

Officers Stewart, Valencia, Craigen, and Mitchell are currently on paid administrative leave following the incident that occurred on December 29.

Police responded to reports of a man firing a rifle outside the Northcliff Terrace Apartments in Spokane. Upon arrival, the four officers reportedly shot and killed 29-year-old Joshua Musselman.

A recent report revealed that the rifle found beside Musselman’s body was an air rifle.

Currently, no charges have been filed against the officers involved.
