Spokane police remind public of how to handle a minor crash

SPOKANE, Wash. – Drivers started their Monday commute on slick roads, causing the Spokane Police Department to offer a reminder on how to handle minor collisions.

In the case of a small crash, drivers should make sure to exchange insurance information and file a report with Washington State Patrol if there are damages over $1,000 or minor injuries.

Speed limits are meant for optimal road conditions, so drivers should also keep their pace slower than the posted limit on icy roads.
