SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Police Department (SPD) responded to 911 calls reporting a man running with a kitchen knife and being chased by several other people Saturday afternoon.
SPD says that the man was said to be running on South Division Street, and that several police and fire crews were staged in the area in the event out of an abundance of caution.
As of 2:50 p.m., the department had not seen the man suspected of wielding the knife.
