SPOKANE, Wash. — Police are currently investigating a homicide that occurred near Spokane’s Logan neighborhood early Friday morning.
Around 2 a.m., Spokane police received reports of a shooting in the 2400 block on north Hamilton. As police arrived, there was a victim that was pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, police are searching for the suspect involved but believe that this incident “doesn’t appear to be random.”
Law enforcement is still on scene at east Jackson Avenue and north Hamilton Street. Currently Jackson Avenue is blocked and police tape is up in restricted areas.
If you are headed out the door this morning, drivers are asked to take a detour around the area.
