SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. – The Spokane Public School board is on track to select its next board member by Wednesday, according to reports from the Spokesman-Review.
The board recently conducted interviews with the final three candidates for the seat vacated by Melissa Bedford. The contenders are Kate Telis, Luke Tolley, and Nicole Bishop.
During the interviews, each candidate addressed the same set of questions. They all emphasized the importance of holding listening sessions with flexible timing to capture a broad spectrum of community input.
Before implementing any changes, the board will swear in the chosen member on November 6.
