SPOKANE, Wash. — A Spokane Regional Emergency Communications (SREC) employee was fired following charges filed against her by the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.
The employee, identified as Shawna Langdon, faces charges of malicious prosecution, false reporting and making false statements, according to the Spokane County inmate roster viewer. The circumstances surrounding the charges remain unclear. SREC stated that Langdon was terminated due to a violation of the organization’s policies related to her arrest.
SREC added that, due to the ongoing investigation, no further information will be released at this time.
