Spokane Regional Emergency Communications launches interactive app

SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Regional Emergency Communications (SREC) announced the launch of their new app designed to enhance public safety.

DREC announced the launch on July 1. SREC said the app aims to provide the community with various public safety resources. This will ensure anyone in Spokane County has easy access to information and services in an emergency situation.

“We are excited to launch this new mobile app, which represents a significant step forward in our efforts to provide the Spokane community with the tools and resources they need to stay safe and informed,” said Lori Markham, Executive Director of SREC. “By leveraging modern technology, we are making it easier than ever for residents to access vital public safety services and information.”

Some features include the following:

Firework Reporting: Report illegal fireworks activity directly through the app.Evacuation Map: An interactive evacuation map allows users to look up addresses and receive important information in an emergency. Safety Alerts: Register for real-time safety alerts.Crime Check Reports: Users can file an online Crime Check report from their mobile device. Public Records Requests: Users can request public records, streamlining the process for accessing official documents.
