SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane residents are voicing concerns about increasing noise disturbances in downtown Spokane.

According to the City of Spokane Ordinance Section 10.08D.090, “it is unlawful to knowingly cause or permit sound that is a public disturbance noise and refuse to cease when ordered to do so by a law enforcement officer. The content of the sound will not be considered in determining any violation.”

The current noise ordinance in Spokane establishes quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. every day.

NonStop Local is asking viewers if they have experienced noise disturbances during after-hours in downtown Spokane. If you have, please participate in our poll by clicking the link here.

A more in-depth story on this issue will be featured in our 11 p.m. broadcast tonight.
