SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane River Centennial Trail was voted one of the best memorial destinations for families in a survey by MaxTour.
The trail spans nearly 40 miles from Sontag Park in Nine Mile Falls to the Washington, Idaho state line. MaxTour’s survey shows that Spokane ranked 28th out of 125 destinations.
“Families can enjoy biking, inline skating, or walking along this scenic route, allowing you to explore as much or as little of the route as you would like,” MaxTour said.
The first 14 miles of the trail will be closed through the summer as crews resurface the asphalt.
