SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Pavilion could have some changes coming in the near future as renaming will be voted on due to sponsorship deal.
The Spokane Riverfront Park Committee is preparing to vote on a potential sponsorship on Jan. 6.
The deal, valued at approximately $2.5 million, would grant naming rights for the next 10 years. If the committee approves, the proposal will go before the park board.
The Spokane Park Board is working with the Superlative Group, a sponsorship sales agency, to finalize the agreement. The agency aims to secure a “title sponsor,” which would allow them to rename the pavilion for the duration of the contract.
While the proposed name has been shared with board members, it has not been made public. The new name will be announced once the deal is finalized, according to the committee’s website.
