SPOKANE, Wash. – Ski and snowboard enthusiasts have reason to celebrate as three local ski resorts are opening their slopes this morning. Skiers and snowboarders can start their day at 49 Degrees North, Silver Mountain and Schweitzer.
The recent snowfall has been favorable for these resorts. Schweitzer has reported an additional 6 to 10 inches of snow in the last 24 hours, making conditions ideal for winter sports.
Mt. Spokane is expected to open a week from now, adding to the excitement for local skiers.
Meanwhile, Lookout Pass has already been open, providing another option for those eager to hit the slopes.
The opening of these resorts marks the beginning of an exciting ski season for the community.
