CHATTAROY, Wash. – A SWAT situation unfolded off of US Highway 2 near Eloika Lake Saturday night.
According to the Spokane Police Department, Spokane SWAT was called to assist Spokane County law enforcement in the midst of an active situation in that area.
It is unclear what exact incident was unfolding around 6 p.m., but police advised members of the public to avoid that general area for the next several hours.
