SPOKANE, Wash. – Five teens were arrested by the Spokane Police Department (SPD) Monday morning for allegedly pulling an airsoft gun on security workers.

According to the department, the teens were harassing workers and vandalizing property around Washington Street between Spokane Falls Boulevard and North River Drive when the teens allegedly pulled a gun on a worker near his security truck.

When the worker took refuge in his truck, SPD claims that he was surrounded by the teens. Officers found the teens nearby in Riverfront Park and arrested them, and found that the gun purportedly used to threaten the worker was an airsoft pistol.

Two of the teens were adults, both of whom are currently in Spokane County Jail. The three minors involved in the incident are at the Spokane County Juvenile Detention Center.
