SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — After a months-long investigation, Spokane Valley Detectives have concluded their inquiry into a residence on the 7300 block of East 4th Avenue, which has been a frequent source of community concerns.
According to a press release from the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, the property, located near an elementary school, has been reported for a range of issues over the past year, including abandoned cars, drug overdoses, domestic violence and other disturbances. Detectives said they obtained a search warrant based on these reports and identified Cody Jensen, 35, as the resident under investigation.
During the search, deputies said that they found 16 cellphones, a laptop, multiple electronic devices, several substances suspected to be fentanyl, drug scales and a variety of firearms, including a stolen Sig Sauer 9mm handgun and an AR-15 rifle.
Jensen was arrested and booked into Spokane County Jail on multiple charges, including drug offenses and possession of a stolen firearm. Deputies said that the investigation is ongoing, and additional developments may follow.
