SPOKANE, Wash. – A 40-year-old man was arrested for allegedly shooting at a woman and her children Tuesday.
According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, 40-year-old Kevin Nichols shot at the woman in a parking lot on the 124000 block of East Sprague Avenue.
“He pulled out a pistol and shot at her, striking and shattering the driver’s side window. Both fled the area, the victim in her vehicle and the suspect in a truck. She drove to the store parking lot and called 911 as the suspect arrived in the truck,” the sheriff’s department said.
Nichols was arrested with the assistance of the US Marshals Service and Kalispel Tribal Police on Thursday. He is an eight time convicted felon according to the US Marshals Service.
