SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – Spokane Regional Emergency Communications (SREC) has announced the purchase of a new facility in Spokane Valley. This move aims to enhance public safety and accommodate future growth.
The new facility will be located on East Mirabeau Parkway, just three miles northwest of the Spokane Valley Mall. SREC states that this location will meet their current needs while allowing room for expansion.
Planning for the new facility is set to begin next month. Construction is scheduled for the summer of next year, with the agency planning to move in by spring 2026.
SREC Executive Director Lori Markham emphasized the long-term benefits of the new location, saying, “This new location positions us to serve the community for the next 30+ years and supports our employees with a convenient, efficient, and future-ready workplace.”
