SPOKANE, Wash. – A Washington State Patrol (WSP) trooper made his 4,000th DUI arrest last month.
According to WSP, Trooper Barry Marcus made the arrest on April 30. He has worked 23 years as a weekend nightshift trooper, and has a total of 32 years of service to the department overall.
“[WSP] thanks Trooper Marcus for his 32 years of continuing service and thanks his family for the many years of sacrifice necessary to make this mark in our agency’s 103 years of service to the state of Washington,” WSP said.
