According to SPD, on Friday, Aug. 2, police responded to reports of an argument and gunfire in the 1200 block of West Fairview. Upon arrival, officers found that the dispute had escalated, with Isabelle Karst, 22, threatening the couple with a knife. The man in the couple reported that he fired a warning shot into the ground after Karst threw a knife at his wife and entered their home with another knife.
