Spokane’s 4th Annual ‘Tacos y Tequila Festival’ is set to return on August

SPOKANE, Wash. – Nuestras Raíces Centro Comunitario (NRCC) has announced the fourth Annual “Tacos y Tequila Festival” coming to Spokane, a two-day Hispanic/Latino cultural event set to take place.

Scheduled for August 24 to 25, 2024, the festival aims to showcase the rich Hispanic/Latino culture and history of the Inland Northwest through food, art, beverages and live entertainment.

The event will feature a tribute to Selena by 512 Selena Experience, Norteño band Los Faraones del Norte, a dash of salsa by Milonga, Ballet Folklorico performances, live Mariachi music, a Latine drag show, and more.

Additionally, it will offer diverse food and flavors representing Latino/Hispanic culture. Beer gardens include No-Li, Estrella beer, La Gritona Tequila, Alipus Mezcal, and other beverages.

The festival aims to provide Spokane residents and visitors with an opportunity to learn about this cultural heritage while supporting local Hispanic-Latino-owned businesses. Fernanda Mazcot, NRCC Executive Director, stated, “Tacos y Tequila Festival allows us to showcase our history and increase public awareness and pride in the depth and diversity of Hispanic Latino culture in the Inland Northwest.”

Proceeds from the festival will support Nuestras Raíces, a community center serving the Hispanic-Latino community.
