SPOKANE, Wash. — Prohibition Gastropub, a local bar and grill, has announced that it will close its doors at the end of the month.

In a Facebook post on Aug.14, the restaurant revealed that it will shut down at the end of August.

The post explained that business declined after losing its parking lot across the street and facing ongoing construction.

“We pushed through major challenges, including rising costs for materials, food, and labor. Our primary goal has always been to serve our community with open hearts. Unfortunately, the practical side of business has led us to this decision,” the post stated.

The restaurant will maintain its regular business hours and continue offering its weekend specials until closing.
