WASINGTON – A Stage 1 burn ban has ended for parts of eastern and central Washington. The ban, which began on Friday, was lifted on Monday.
It had prohibited outdoor burning, agricultural burning, and the use of uncertified wood stoves, except when the wood stove was the only source of heat.
The ban has been lifted for Chelan, Douglas, Kittitas, Klickitat, Okanogan, Ferry, Pend Oreille, Stevens, Asotin, Columbia and Garfield counties.
