CHENEY, Wash. – Both directions of State Route 904 in Cheney will close for repaving starting July 16.
The closure is part of the State Route 904 Betz Road Crossing project. During the first phase, from July 16 to July 22, both directions of State Route 904 will be closed at the railroad crossing south of the Betz Road intersection. Phase two, scheduled from July 24 to July 30, will close Betz Road in both directions west of the State Route 904 intersection.
Drivers needing access to Betz Road should continue on State Route 904 until reaching Simpson Parkway, then detour via 6th Street/Murphy Road. Lane restrictions or closures on SR 904 will not be allowed between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
