SPOKANE, Wash. – A suspect was arrested in Spokane after a crime spree that targeted a local business. This was his third arrest in just three days.

According to the Spokane Police Department, the first arrest happened on Sept. 23, when Larry Griffin, 50, allegedly stole a car from a business near 6600 North Division. Employees recovered the vehicle, and police arrested Griffin after an investigation. He was booked into Spokane County Jail but released the next day.

On Sept. 25, around 1:30 a.m., police said they returned to the same business after receiving reports of vehicle prowling. They found Griffin in a car in the parking lot and discovered several other vehicles had been broken into. He was arrested on three counts of vehicle prowling and booked into jail again.

The next day, Sept. 26, police said that employees reported another stolen vehicle at the same location. They found the car nearby and noted that Griffin had returned, apologizing for taking both the truck and the earlier car. After gathering information, police arrested Griffin for theft of a motor vehicle. When located nearby, he was uncooperative and yelled at officers.

Griffin was taken into custody without incident and returned to Spokane County Jail for the third time that week. Police said that he has a significant criminal history, including felony convictions for second-degree robbery.
