KELLER, Wash. – The Swawilla Fire is 45% contained while Level 3 (go now) evacuations remain in place for large portions of the Keller area.
According to the Colville Confederated Tribes, over 500 fire personnel worked to restrain the progress of the Swawilla and Bridge Creek wildfires Monday night. A controlled burn to contain the fire near the west side of Keller is planned for Tuesday.
The Keller Ferry will offer limited service to . All roads south of Cache Creek and Agency Cutoff Road between Highway 155 and Highway 21 remained closed as of Tuesday morning.
