SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – Swire Coca-Cola, one of the world’s largest Coca-Cola bottling partners, plans to expand its facility in Spokane Valley.
The company recently filed a building permit and SEPA application to expand and retool its facility located at 9705 E. Montgomery Ave.
The Inland Northwest Business Watch reached out to Swire Coca-Cola on details about the expansion and was told, “As part of our long-term planning and growth goals, and to meet customer demand, we are looking for ways to position ourselves in order to meet future needs of the community, “said Erica Hansen, external communications manager with Swire Coca-Cola. “Efforts made in Washington are exploratory. We plan to keep the community informed about potential future development of the site, but no final decisions have been made at this time.”
The SEPA application states that the site will receive a 60,000-square-foot warehouse and a 5,000-square-foot office building. One of the existing buildings on site will also be removed.
