CHELAN, Wash. – A 16-year-old was arrested in suspicion of robbing a Safeway gas station in Chelan.
On Nov. 25 the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office responded to the gas station after the clerk said that a man with came into the store saying he had a knife and demanded cash.
The clerk told the police that the suspect was wearing a pink face mask, sunglasses and a black shirt. Police searched for suspect in the area but could not find anyone with that description.
CCSO then got access to the camera footage of the robbery and used other community resources to identify the suspect as a 16-year-old boy in the area.
The boy was arrested and is currently being held in the Chelan County Juvenile Justice Center on charges of 1st degree robbery.
