OTHELLO, Wash. – One teen is dead and three more are in the hospital after a rollover crash on State Route 26 just west of Othello.
The four occupants of the car ranged from 18 to 21 years old, and the Washington State Patrol says the crash was caused by speed.
Around 9:30 p.m. on Monday, the boys were traveling westbound when they crossed over into the eastbound lane and rolled the car.
Three of the four boys were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, and the 18-year-old driver died in the crash.
The Washington State Patrol is still investigating, and it is unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved.
