GRAND COULEE, Wash. — A boy was arrested after slashing two people with a knife at a party in Grand Coulee on Sunday.
According to Grant County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO), deputies responded to a call around 2:15 a.m. on Sunday after an alleged fight at 213 Second Street broke out.
The 17-year-old suspect allegedly armed himself with a knife and swung the weapon at a 22-year-old woman, cutting a deep wound in the back out her head. The teenager also injured a 20-year-old man by swinging the knife and gave him a deep wound to the chest.
When deputies arrived on scene, most of the party attendees had left, with a few staying behind to restrain the suspect. According to GCSO, the victims were treated by EMTs and the suspect was taken to the Chelan County Juvenile Justice Center for investigation of first-degree assault and first-degree harassment.
GSCO is now investigating this incident.
