The summer may be winding down, but burn bans remain in effect

SPOKANE, Wash. – As students return back to school, families are getting ready to transition into the fall season. However, burn bans remain in effect throughout Washington State.

Burn restrictions also remain in place in unincorporated Spokane County, where recreational open burning and campfires are not allowed. Manufactures portable outdoor fireplaces and barbecues do not fall under that county order.
