SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – A Saturday night company holiday party in Spokane Valley ended with a theft, leaving one man with a broken truck ignition and a loss of thousands of dollars.
Kevin Jernstrom discovered the trailer and two snowmobiles were stolen during the event at the Black Diamond. Security cameras captured footage of the thieves’ cars, but no individuals were visible. The footage does not show any clear license plate numbers.
“If you were to try and replace those, you’re well over 10,000 dollars to replace both the sleds and not including the trailer,” Jernstrom said. “I mean, the trailer’s only couple thousand dollars, but it’s not mine. I feel obligated to replace it and that’s what I’m going to do.”
Jernstrom reported the incident to the Spokane Valley Police Department.
