MOSCOW, Idaho. – The trial for the accused killer of four University of Idaho students has been set for June of 2025.

During a hearing on Thursday, both the defense and state agreed on the date which will be nearly two and half years following the murders.

The location of the trial has yet to be decided as Kohbergers team fights for a location change arguing that he would not receive a fair trial in Latah County. A hearing discussing change of venue has been set for August.

Judge John Judge concluded the hearing by adding that setting this date into motion is a ‘great step’.

The trial is expected to take at least three months as Kohberger and defense are working to build their cases to prepare.
