SPOKANE, Wash. – A truck rolled over into the northbound lanes of SR 291 in Nine Mile on Thursday morning due to a medical emergency.
Washington State Patrol said that a single truck rolled over trapping one man inside around 8:30 a.m.
The 80-year-old man was traveling southbound when he experienced what medics say was a seizure.
Spokane County Fire District 9 is working to remove him from the truck and treat him for injuries.
Crews are working to remove the car from the roadway, resulting in the closure of both north and southbound lanes until it can be towed, causing a slight delay in traffic.
The road will reopen when the truck is removed.
