Two drive-by shootings in Spokane in past week

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Police Department (SPD) responded to a drive-by shooting early Monday morning after a separate drive-by on Saturday.

According to SPD, the first shooting took place at around 6:30 a.m. on North Wall Street and West Francis Avenue. Several shots were fired at a home on North Wall, which SPD believes was a targeted attack. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.

The Monday morning shooting took place on the 6000 block of North Addison Street at a party. A car with four teenagers was stopped while fleeing the house, where an 18-year-old was allegedly in possession of a gun.

That teenager is currently in Spokane County Jail on drive-by shooting charges.
