MOSCOW, Idaho – University of Idaho’s student paper The Argonaut reported that a red-flag warning for blowing dust and elevated fire danger has led to the cancelation of some outdoor homecoming events.
The Argonaut says that a planned bonfire is canceled and fireworks have been postponed due to the potential safety issues caused by the Friday afternoon weather.
The red-flag warning signals both an aggressive cold front, blowing dust and dry conditions causing increased fire danger.
