SPOKANE, Wash. – November has arrived, and with it comes a variety of exciting events in Spokane. Kate Hudson from Visit Spokane shares some highlights to help plan the weekend.
First up is the return of the Broadway show “Come From Away” at the First Interstate Center for the Arts. This show, running all weekend, tells the true story of 7,000 stranded passengers on 9/11 in a small town in Newfoundland.
For music lovers, Morris Day and The Time, featuring Sheila E, will perform at the Northern Quest Resort and Casino.
Hudson shared that Morris Day went to high school with Prince and was in the same band, The Time. The concert will take place indoors at the Ponder Pavilion, promising a great experience.
Vintage toy enthusiasts can look forward to the Inland Northwest Classic Toy Show at the Spokane County Interstate Fair and Expo Center. The event is happening tomorrow, with free entry for kids 12 and under.
Lastly, Spokane’s First Friday event celebrates local arts, music, and the downtown retail scene.
