More than 12,000 cartons of Great Value chicken broth sold at Walmart are being recalled due to a packaging issue that could lead to spoilage.
The recall began in mid-December and was published on the Food and Drug Administration’s website last week. The affected product is the family-size 48-ounce cartons, sold in aseptic paper cartons, with a best-by date of March 25, 2026.
These cartons were available in over 240 stores across nine states. Walmart announced it is working with suppliers to investigate the issue further.
