SPOKANE, Wash. — It is the first week of 2024 and there are already a ton of events to attend to start your New Year off right. There will be comedy shows, downtown events, musicals, expos, and even the first-ever WWE SuperShow!
Here are some events to look at:
First Friday in downtown Spokane on Jan. 5
- The First Friday of January AND of 2024 is Jan. 5. To celebrate, downtown Spokane retailers and restaurants will feature artists, musicians, exclusive activities, produce launches, and specialty food and beverages!
Dusty Slay at Spokane Comedy Club on Jan. 5 & 6
- Dusty Slay has close to half a million TikTok followers, four Late Night appearances, a Comedy Central set, and a Netflix Half-Hour Special under his belt. He is selling out clubs across America and is making a stop in Spokane for his tour. Tickets are on sale and start at $22.
Merrily We Roll Along at Spokane Civic Theater on Jan. 5 – 7
- Merrily We Roll Along travels backward in time to navigate the bumpy history among three friends – Franklin, Charlie, and Mary – who begin their careers in show business together. Tickets are on sale right now, with adult tickets being $38, senior and military are $33 and students are $15.
Scenic Hot Cocoa Cruises on Lake Coeur d’Alene on Jan. 5 – 7
- Embrace the cozy charm of winter on Lake Coeur d’Alene with a Scenic Hot Cocoa Cruise! Boats depart twice a day at 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm, these 90-minute cruises promise a delightful blend of scenic views and indulgent sips. If you are interested, make sure to book a spot online!
WWE Supershow at Spokane Arena on Jan. 6
- This is an action-packed night you don’t want to miss. For the first time ever, WWE SuperShow is coming to the Spokane Arena with Monday Night Raw & Friday Night Smackdown Superstars squaring off like never before! If you want to go tickets range from $20 – $115 and are available on TicketsWest.
Spokane Wedding Expo at DoubleTree Hotel on Jan. 6

Spokane Lifestyle Show at Spokane County Expo Center on Jan. 6
- If you have big goals for yourself in 2024, the 6th annual Spokane Lifestyle Show may help you through your journey! From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., over 70 local vendors will be at the Spokane County Expo Center to share their products and services with the community.
Cross Country Ski Lesson at 49 Degrees North on Jan. 6
- If you want to learn how to cross-country ski, you can! At 49 Degrees North, you will be taught the basics by a certified ski instructor. It is $67 to sign up and this includes instruction, skis, boots, poles, trail passes, and a guided tour.
