OLYMPIA, Wash. – Students attending community colleges in Washington will face a tuition increase next year. The Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges has approved this hike.
Full-time students in lower division classes will pay an additional $54 per quarter.
In addition to the tuition increase, board members are seeking an extra $1.2 million from the state legislature. This request aims to bolster emergency reserve funds for facility and infrastructure repairs.
