SPOKANE, Wash. – Washington counties have officially certified the 2024 General Election results.
This marks the completion of mandatory audits and the verification of returns during the 21-day post-election process.
Voter turnout reached 78.9% with over 3.9 million ballots cast across federal, state and local races.
According to election officials there were a record number of voter transactions as well.
They registered 13,250 new voters, updated 17,400 registrations and issued 23,500 ballots leading up to and on Election Day.
The statewide results are set to be certified on December 4.
Washington’s Electoral College will then cast votes for President and Vice President on December 17.
