SPOKANE, Wash. – The Washington Department of Ecology will host a public meeting to discuss plans and answer questions on the efforts of cleaning up PFAS in Spokane.

The meeting will be on May 6, at 6:30 p.m. at the Spokane International Airport PFAS Site located at 12703 West 14th Avenue, Airway Heights, WA.

This comes on the heels of an enforcement order placed on a Spokane facility with concerns over hazardous material near the Spokane International Airport.

The State of Washington Department of Ecology requires the site to complete a remedial investigation to determine the extent of the PFAS in the soil and water.

The meeting will be open to the public for concerns and questions, as well as information on how you can get involved in the cleanup process.
