SPOKANE, Wash. – Washington State offers more than 140 stunning parks accessible to the public nearly year-round. This Earth Day, entry to state parks is complimentary, courtesy of Washington State Parks.
The Spokane area holds five of the 140 unique parks Washington has to offer:
Columbia Plateau State Park Trail Mount Spokane State Park Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail Riverside State Park Spokane River Centennial State Park Trail
These parks typically have entrance fees that range from $10 to $30 for the Discover Pass. For the park times and availability click here.
The parks are open for free day time use but do not permit free overnight passes.
Free park access isn’t limited to Earth Day alone; in fact, parks offer complimentary entry on 12 separate occasions throughout the year.
