Washington State Patrol car hit in King County

KING COUNTY, Wash. – For the sixth time in just five days, a Washington State Patrol trooper’s car was hit in King County.

The latest incident occurred along northbound 167 near I-405. Troopers reported that the driver did not move over and collided with the patrol car.

The trooper involved was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Troopers confirmed that the driver was not impaired.

Over the weekend, four other patrol cars were hit, all by drivers suspected to be under the influence.
